Simple Dislikes and likes about the Jets

Ive come 2 see that the missiles act just plain old Weird.
1. when u lead them and the rocket somehow misteriosly goes through the jet. in DC that was the best way 2 kill a jet was 2 get into a turn and lead then FIRE.
2. i hate the lock on thing. its no fun when they accualy know there behind you.
3. its hard 2 use the old fly high sting hard trick if you dont have the handy dandy Radar.

Some pretty good things i like about the jet iss:
1.I enjoy how touchy they are. i have a crappy joystick that is broken. and i still fly the plane excellently, Not as good as i really want but it gets the job done.
2.Yeah the guns are pretty nastyyyy too. Kinda reminds me of Vietnam in the MIG.
3. IF and i repeat this IF. your a good enough Pilot and you see and random guy in a tank cruising. I like how it takes. aboutt 2 rockets and a bit of led in it and it Is killed. the jeeps usualy take 1 Rocket. Ive Grew apoun my Skill at doing this. Its really handy at Ganzala andd Elelamain.

This is unfortunately down to BF2 hit detection. We're working on trying to improve things though because we hate it just as much as you guys do.

2. i hate the lock on thing. its no fun when they accualy know there behind you.

This was originally left in due to BF2 draw distances. A new draw distance tweak is going into testing in the next couple of days which will increase the distance vehicles and soldiers can be seen from. If there are no huge performance impacts then we should be able to get rid of all the lock on/target boxes, both on jets and on the bombers. :)

Radar like that of DC is not possible in the BF2 engine.
