Totally turned off by the bots. Was 110% going to get this game until I saw those darn things, now I doubt I will get it unless there is a server side way to disable them. So my question would be, why did the devs choose to ruin the gameplay by including lame bots and will they allow a server option to remove them?

I just wanna know when there will be a demo (soon I hope) and whether they're going to have persistent stats/unlocks (hopefully they will).

However, I'm not going to register on that site to ask questions that probably won't be answered.

If the game will have "Manned Jets" why did you include "Air strikes"? even if they are part of an unlock feature, I think this is an overkill IMO. Let the Infantry maps focus on Infantry. We have plenty of bombings going on with the Drones and such, no need for death from above to rain on us.

There are no bots in multiplayer. The only bot for say is a Drone bomber that you can call in.

Its is a server side option to disable any weapon\vehicle or loadout per match. This means you can disable anything you want to make it just infantry only or airstrikes that upgrade fast.. Your choice.

So clan matches can be very specific.

I had some time in the beta, and it seemed a great game. Was a little quiet. Needs a little more advertising in my opinion :-P.

Yes, FFoW definately needs more hype, Frank!!
Honestly, not many people knows about this game, not even in the BF community.
And this community is craving for something new to replace BF2/ BF2142 with.
Now is the time for KAOS to make a move!

*No death from above in infantry maps, please.
Artillery and stuff is what ruined it for the infantry player in BF2.
And I get pretty annoyed by airstrikes in COD4 as well.
Infantry maps won't need them. That is what I like when playing and Designing the Desert Conflict infantry maps. You can just focus on getting frags and get fragged with your guns.

*Also guns should be able to hit something in close quarters, even when fired in hip mode.
Fast gameplay like "run and gun", without the need to pull up your iron sight in CQB is what makes DCon so much fun (at least for assault rifles and submachineguns). Bullet spread is almost non-existant up close. Iron sights are for medium and long distances. Not for CQB fighting!!
Unfortunately, not even COD4 got this fact completely right, but atleast they're on the right track...
Of the military shooters I have played, only Delta Force: Blackhawk Down succeeded in this.

If you pay attention to these two things, FFoW would an infantry lovers wet dream. ;)

ya...this game definitly needs more hype now that all the games are out. Perhaps wait after thanks giving, but after that man, we need to advertise the heck out of this sucker. It is scary the potential of this game, and ratio of people who know little about it.

By the way, Its an honor for Frank to visit our forums :P That is the one thing that I love about KAOS studios, and that is the PR they keep with their gamers. They actualy care about their audiences input. I have spoken with a few of the developers, and I have always had the pleasure of getting to know them better.

Keep up the great work, and advertise more :P

Thats why I call him the Big Kahuna!

Anyway, you will be hearing a lot more about Frontlines (and get more opportunities to play it in the coming months).

The storm is coming...
