Wow,

Roach, Clive, Kysterama and all the really cool people who have given up so much personal time to develop this MOD. It just FKING ROCKS in all areas!

GOD I LOVE AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND :D

Ok...enuf of the cyber-hugs..

01.
There is lag. Only a few maps lag me out badly, but it's there.
I will edit this post with the map names as I get them, but you probably already know which ones are responsible.

02.
Sweet ANZAC DAY...I cannot get any DEMO FILES to run.
I use the cmd line <demo.startxxxxx / demo.stopxxxx>
Bloody thing won't show up in the "Community" button.
They are, however, showing up in the appropriate "My Documents" directory.

How can I get them to play.

I am a VIDEO FREAK. Much enjoyment making these damn movies (http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=bf2blackops.com&sitesearch=)

Must...have....demo files....working....for AIX !! :D

Again lads, too much good work.
You are all appreciated very much for your efforts!!

I figured out the DEMO issue.

You can start recording in-game by bringing up the tilde key < ~ >.
The one above your TAB button for most keyboards.

Type in the following to START a recording:
demo.recorddemo <space> GiveTheFileAName

ex: demo.recorddemo reddawn harrier

You can stop recording at any time...well, sort of.
DO NOT EXIT OUT OF THE GAME without STOPPING your recording.
Check out the helpful tips over at TWEAKGUIDES (http://www.tweakguides.com/BF2_6.html)

Type the following to STOP a recording:
demo.stoprecording

Intuitive. I like dat.

Your AIX DEMOS will be stored in the following location:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\AIX\Demos

But, you are not able to PLAY the demos from this location. Follow me?

You must MOVE (copy or not) the demo files to the following default directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\xyzComputerName\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default\Demos

They must be in this folder, or else the application (BF2 AIX) will not know where to look so you can play them back.

You can play them by

Launching the game
Clicking on the COMMUNITY TAB

The demos you just moved over...should be on the right side.
Select a demo file.
Click PLAY at the bottom right.

*NOTE: When you record, BF2 will actually make TWO FILES.
One is much smaller than the other.
Not sure if you need to move both, but I did not want to gamble.

*NOTE 02: You must move your files to the proper location...THEN LAUNCH the game.
You won't see them if you move your demo files while the game is running.

Hope this helps.
Thanks for not answering back :)
You forced me to figger it out fer meself, lads.

Sorry Bro! I didn't know you meant recording a demo like that. I thought you meant some more serious stuff like making video's and editing them....DOH!

I know about the demo in game recording...and if I woulda known thats what you meant, you would have gotten an answer that day....again, extremely sorry for misunderstanding you.
