PC gamers can be excited because two of the most popular game titles are being released this week as well as an expansion to another. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Gears of War, and F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate are all being released this week onto the PC along with several other titles.

You play as a soldier in the United States Marine Corp fighting in the Middle East and, later you can play as two different soldiers in the British Special Air Service fighting in Russia.
The game also features a 8 to 32 player online multiplayer. Players can go online and play their friends, co-workers, family, or just anyone who is worth fighting.
The multiplayer features a class system with five different specialties a player can choose from. Assault, special ops, light machine gunner, demolitions, and sniper. The online portion of Call of Duty 4 also features an experience point system which allows the player to unlock more classes. You can even create-a-class with enough experience points.
Multiplayer also features twelve game modes. Many modes contain control points or flags that each team must take or control to win the level. Other modes contain an objective that must be completed, such as detonating/protecting a bomb site. Other new modes to the series include increased damage and health. Classic free-for-all and team deathmatch are also included.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is developed by Infinity Ward and will be released Tuesday November 6th, 2007 for PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo DS in North America. The game will reach other major international markets within the following weeks.

Gears of War was a major hit on the 360, even receiving awards from E3 before its 360 release date.
Gears of War is set on the world of Sera where your character is a member of Delta Squad. Your job is to defend the world against the Locust Horde which live underground on the planet.
Gears of War includes a 8 person online multiplayer mode through Microsoft’s Games for Windows Live.
Multiplayer will be available to all players, but “Gold” subscribers of Microsoft’s Games for Windows Live will have extra features such as custom matchmaking and the ability to post scores on the official leaderboards.
Unfortunately, PC & Xbox 360 gamers have no cross platform compatibility, however, PC gamers will have new games modes as well as new levels that 360 gamers currently do not have.
Gears of War is developed by Epic Games and will be released Tuesday November 6th, 2007 for PC in North America, November 9th for Europe, and November 15 for Australia. The Xbox 360 version is already available.

The new campaign in Perseus Mandate reveals a parallel story from the original F.E.A.R., allowing players to play a different F.E.A.R. soldier and battle new enemies.
Perseus Mandate is a standalone expansion meaning that players are not required to have the original F.E.A.R installed on their systems to play Perseus Mandate.
Perseus Mandate will also feature a 16 player online multiplayer mode through which players can battle one another.
F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate is developed by Monolith and will be released Tuesday November 6th, 2007 for PC. F.E.A.R. Files which includes Perseus Mandate and the 1st F.E.A.R. expansion Extraction Point for Xbox 360 is also available November 6th.
Both F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate and F.E.A.R. Files will be available to Europe and Australia in the coming weeks.
