About Us:
=NLTT= is a small tight knit group of experienced gamers. We usually have a couple of guys on each night and try and make Friday’s our clan game night. We used to compete but we got burned out and now we only pub it.
We are a multi gaming clan. We play Team Fortress and BF2 a little. We mainly play BF2142 right now but are looking to migrate to CoD4.
We believe in coordinated TEAM play. We have no rank system in the clan but each player has certain roles they play based on their strengths. For example, we have regular squad leaders and regular point men.
We are a laid back but competitive group. Nothing is worse than losing a close match but we would rather lose a close one than win a blow out. It is a game and we aim to have fun. We do not pretend to be a real military unit, but we do use proven strategies and tactics. However, if you call any of us sir you will be kicked out of the clan.
We range in age from teenagers to thirties. We believe that maturity and immaturity come in all ages. We are a North American, Midwest clan. We usually play at night between 10 and 2 Eastern Time.
Technical Stuff:
We have a 32 player ranked server for BF2142 that runs city maps only. It is fairly new and is only populated on the weekends right now. However, we are working on getting it populated during the week. Search for it: =NLTT= SMACKHOUSE City Maps Only. Our server is located in Chicago. Once we migrate to CoD4 we will be adding another server for that as well.
We use ventrilo to communicate. If you are interested in joining let me know and I will send you our vent info so you can join us on-line. We are changing web addresses right now. www.nlttsquad.net should be fully functional by the end of the weekend.
About You:
First, you must have a mic to join the clan. Our style of play requires a vast amount of communication. We do not have CoD4 guildlines yet but here are ouir BF2142 rules so you get an idea of how we play: 1) no base raping uncaps; 2) no run and gun commanding; 3) squadleaders give orders; 4) no jihad ramming.
Experienced gamers are preferred but we do accept noobs who are willing to learn how to play in a squad. We have about a dozen active members. If you are looking for a large clan then we are not for you. However, if you are looking to join a tight knit group of experienced gamers then send me a PM here or visit our Squad Forums next week.
Finally, you must have thick skin. We cuss, swear, use the Lord's name in vain and generally tell each other how worthless we are. We also have a tendancy to post porn in our squad forums. We are a very competitve group but that does not stop us from acting like drunken Marines every once in a while.
