updating problem

i borrowed opposing fronts from my buddy the other day, and i installed it and everything. Then when i open the game to play, it won't let me create a profile or anything, it just goes to a screen that shows that its updating. The problem is, the updating in game goes extreeeeeeemely slow, probably around 5 kb/s.

I can't find an update on fileplanet or anywhere, so can someone help me out?

I dont know why its updating so slow.but if u want to play disconnect your internet when you play then turn it back on.This will let you bypass the autoupdater.

If your buddy has the game installed and then you installed it, you can't be playing at the same time. This is to prevent ppl from using the game without buying it. That could be the issue that you're experiencing.

No it's just the automatic patch downloader, it sucks. Just let it run and go do something else for a while. Be sure to come back in between downloads to click ok or something. I had to download 2 patch of around 130mb each.

it downloads very slow, just download it from a local site
