Just finished the game

I didn't want that to end. I already want to play the next game to continue with the story:nod: Its like a movie.

I give the game a 9 out of 10 because the only bad moment I remember was trying to make my way out of the zero gravity alien place. I got really dizzy and had to lay down for a few minutes.

I wish the story had some surprises but other then that and the zero gravity place. This game is fantastic!

Why does everyone hae the zero gravity level? It was one of my favorite levels. It was a lot of fun. I really didnt get too dizzy either(although this was probably due to playing a lot of portal just before the release of Crysis).

I didn't have too much trouble with the zero gravity level. My least favorite level was the carrier one. It just wasn't fun, at all.

I didn't like it for the sheer fact that When those aliens like were doing there thing it was freaking the crap out of me. I guess I just feel better on ground than I do floating around. more control issues than anything. and they were hard to kill, making running that much more scarier.

In the core/cave/alien level, all I thought was how do I get out of here, not thinking at all, I totally missed almost all the ammo (until the last room, there I noticed the stuff). Overall though I liked it.

Well the zero g level is supposed to scare and disorient you. It wasn't all that scary but there were some doom 3 moments.

Actually, the Core level was designed so that you only needed a few sniper rounds or other gun shots to get outta there. In other words, I played on the next to hardest level and could have probably gotten outta there without having fired a shot. It was one of those levels that continue the storyline, but is almost filler material (visuals, anti-gravity).

The whole game goes into crap mode once the Aliens take over the game (imho).

i hated the damn VTOL part..that was by far the hardest part in the game.
the core part was the best..it looked awesome:D

Was it just me or in that part was anyone else not going very fast at all? All the other vtols were going like 2 or 3 times faster than I could at top speed. At the end I was being chased by about 20 of the aliens and all I did was just duck and weave in the air trying to get to the carrier.

The VTOL controls are kinda retarded. At times, I hit the shift key and didn't speed up at all.

I remember the first time I did it, I got damaged to about 70%, so I was moving very slow. But, I made it all the way to when Psycho starts talking, and an alien shot me down :cry:. The second time through I just sped through the whole thing. VTOL + Carrier = bad last 2 levels for a game.

Well if crysis is a crap game because it can be beaten in 6 hours on normal then what is cod4 when it can be beaten in 5 hours on veteran?

Aint had the time to finish yet but im in the Core level now and I have to agree it's a little annoying after a while. It just annoys me how I kow I'm completely capable of killing them (they have never killed me yet) but I just can't hit the damn things because the movement is so clumsy.
Does my head in how i randomly die too, I remember I was collecting some ammo and half my health vanished and before I could say WTF i was dead... No alians no nothing, I just died. Happend loads of times on that level.

the core aliens are easy to kill.. super speed right up to them then use F to grab them and throw em away from you..just the grap and throw seems to kill them that way you don't waste your ammo shooting at em.

Oh yeah I know, everytime they charge at me I assault my F key and they are easy to kill... Just damn hard to hit when your busy doing loop the friggin loops 'cus theres no gravity.

I can finish Half Life in under 1.5 hours and Ive seen it finished in 45 minutes. Thats right. HL1 in 45 minutes. Nevertheless, its the greatest FPS ever made.

On topic, yes, VTOL controls in Crysis are by far the most retarded thing ever conceived, same for helos.
