i thought there was a video folder somewhere that you could rename each of them,

It is in game, localized, videos then in that folder next to all the movies is another folder called english in which the "content may change when playing online" movie thing is. DO NOT erase all the files in the video folder as some of them are the background that plays and other things. It is pretty obvious which ones to take away as they are intel.something(I erased mine so I don't remember what the .something is.)
go to your \Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Localized\Video directory, and rename all the .sfd files starting with Trailer_, as well as Crytek.sfd, to something else - e.g. give them all ._sfd extensions. Alternatively, create a new folder under that directory, call it whatever you wish, and move all the above .sfd files to that new directory. The game will now automatically skip all these introductory movies and get to the main menu within a shorter space of time.

From a faq site:
1. Go to this folder from your install location “Crysis SP Demo\Game\Localized\Video”
2. Create a new folder to backup the videos (i.e. Backup)
3. Move all videos from the directory in step 1 to this newly created folder except for bg.sfd and intro.sfd
4. Next time your run Crysis it will go straight to the game menu
I would advise this tho....when the patch comes out, restore everything to default before running the patch.
The reason I say this is that I used to alter the game files (videos) for BF2.
If I didn't restore all video files to their default before patching, the patch would detect this and
tell me the game has been altered and to restore it. Even after doing so, the patch still wouldn't take, I had to do a reinstall of the game.
I think it was a security protection thingy.
Just a thought.
