Beta Install Warning

Sorry if this has already been posted before.

This is for all those FP subscribers expecting an e-mail today :

The e-mail will give you a link and an access key. You'll need to be online and have the key ready to install the client. Once installed, you will not get to reinstall the game either on a different machine or on the same one.

Now maybe things have been changed since then but just in case I thought I'd give you the heads up to save tears later on :)

Thanks for the info. If i had installed then uninstalled when i found out that client had been leaked will my installation today get messed?

Hmmmm...the client that is being tested at the moment does not allow you to install without having a key in the first place so what you have must be somewhat different to what I have.

I doubt you'll have a problem but good luck anyhow !

Thanks for the heads-up. This may be a REALLY stupid question but can I download it onto one machine then install it on another? I have a server running 24/7 and I always download stuff to it, copy it over then install on my pc.

Ya you can d/l it anyware from the sounds of it but can only instal in on one machine at once time.

reaper i really think this should be stickied as im sure you know that on the beta boards theres 100's with this problem, we can prehaps cut it down specially with all the new people. :)

well i dont think thats smart, cause what if u like lose the emial to some freak virus then u lose the key and u can no longer install it and ur computer blows up and u get mad and go running to the people at ea and yell at them for another key code and then they give it to u and and and ..... im just kidding:) i know why they do this, so that you cant share the darn thing, those little devils in ea are smart;)
