The Jurassic Park (http://jurassicparksource.com/) mod team is back today to show off two new screenshots of the Aviary. Take a look:

The Aviary is a dome shaped structure; To put it in simple terms, a giant bird cage for Pterosaurs. The dome is 1/4 of a mile wide, and contains a facility within it called, Pteratops Lodge.

Jurassic Park's scientist created this massive facility with the intent to bring people close to the Pterosaurs, with obvious minimal security; Believing these flying dinosaurs were benign and peaceful. The truth however, is that the creatures begin to exhibit the exact opposite. Behaving very territorial and vicious.

Just wonderful... still hoping they would base the game ON THE BOOK and not the movies.

Holy moly. I love this. Great work. Wasn't the movies based on the books? Just dramatized to suit the needs? Basing it off the books would be rather boring imo.

Are you kidding me? Go and actually read the book first. It had more action than the movies did, and a lot more meat, plus, it was longer aswell as at some point they restored control over the park, only to be ****ed over by Mother Nature. If the game would be based on the movie, it would suck as hell, plot wise.

ill take your word for it that the books were better, seeing as how books usually are

I have a general wish that it would "look" like the movie, but be based on the novel(s).

I think this mod has a great potential to be one of the most interesting mods ever made, IF it will be even released. I dunno what happened to FarCry JP mod, but I really hope that this one will be finished and released some day. :salute:

I have a general wish that it would "look" like the movie, but be based on the novel(s).
i hope its like that too. it will be a great A+ mod if it is

Read it. Its not dragged its not boring. Its slow until the 80th page or so and then picks up and goes all the way up to the end like a roller coaster.
