Medieval Conflicts (http://www.medievalconflicts.com/) is a new mod for Crysis, based in the medieval ages, specifically on the "Hundred Years War" between England and France. Take a look:
To give everyone a bit of information about our mod...we have many things planned including new game modes like the famous castle siege, a "push" style gamemode and a few others that we are keeping under wraps
We also have a whole slew of weapons planned including the longbow, crossbow, axe, sword etc. Vehicles both stationary and mobile will be available as well like trebuchet's, ballistas, horses and more.

The way these media updates will work is every month almost at the beginning of the month we'll make our update with screenshots, ideas etc. that we have come up with over the previous 4 weeks. So without any further adieu here is the December Media Update.
All these models are by one of our modelers, Trix3. These models are not skinned, and therefore labeled WIP (work in progress).
The first is an English longbow, which were very popular during the “Hundred Years War”. One of it’s most famous use’s was in the Battle of Agincourt.
Second is a horse, obviously still being worked on but this gives you an idea as to what it will look like.
Third picture is a English shield, the shape was used by many English knights.
Fourth is the French Poleaxe, this was ideal for use against soldiers who had swords that couldn’t reach as far as the Poleaxe can.
In the fifth picture there is a French crossbow. Although reloading took much more time than the longbow, it had quite a bit of power, and was fairly accurate.
And finally, the sixth picture is a English mace, it was particularly good for piercing chainmail, plate armor, and shields.
