The Battle for Qinling (v0.7 Map)

The Battle for Qinling is a British vs PLA maps with lots of hilly frosty terrain that will feature mainly Combined Arms combat from jets to infantry all needing to work together to be able to archive victory on this map!

Briefing:
With constant skirmishing across the Chinese front lines, British forces decide to strike a deadly blow into the Qinling mountain region. Both sides have established air bases in the foothills of the mountains, and are preparing to launch a large scale combined arms offensive through this once tranquil region.

A Small USMC mechanized unit has been attached along side the British Forces as part of a joint coalition operation. The area has a large coal deposit, crucial to the Chinese war effort in this region. The stakes are high in this large scale operation, and neither side can afford to lose.

from a ground combat point of view it wont be that much bigger than a normal vBF2 map. Just the flags are 1km apart. Not like kashan where each flag is in the other corner of the map, the flags are focused into a main area of the map ;)

the extra room is for jets, choppers etc to roam about, with also allowing lots of area to flank etc ;)

It doesnt look too frosty to me, but AMAZING work, I love those rapids aswell

if anything the trees are not dence enough but there is already 30,000 trees on the map, was 40,000 at one point but i had to cut it down to save on performance.

na, the pics are what it is ingame which is 800 meters, not as much as Kashan but then again, this map has 30,000 trees in it and many more objects / detail ;)
