View Full Version : Archipeligan Warfare for BF2142 (56K Warning?)

This is a little different, I wanna get a mod team together to make models and get everything together for the Archipeligan Warfare mod, then, when BF2142 we will see what all the new coding is for BF2142, but it won't be different because it runs on the same engine as BF2, but who knows, then, we will make all the maps and stuff for BF2142, ect.

I am also planning a tournament for BF2 using the PoE2 mod, and oneday maby a tournament using said Archipeligan Warfare mod for BF2142

Also, in that forum is a suggestion box, where you can make suggestions for the tournament we are planning, the Archipeligan Warfare mod, or the site. The suggestion forum is under the General Discussion forum

Because we need suggestions on what to convert the titan mode to in the mod, because the Archipeligans didn't have floating aircraft carriers, lol

And there are a few things we can cross over, for example, the Lambert Carbine:

We would only need to edit the texture, but the model could be used as the C.N.F UXT-150, or something, I havent came up with all the ideas yet, but still, there are alot of models that could be used with a few tweaks

Oh, I would need Modelers and Skinners at this point

I have created a basic concepts for a map for Archipeligan Warfare: Island Assault, it was made by copying and pasting google earth maps untill I got something, because they look realistic like that:

I also have a concept for the battleships, in replacement of Titan mode is Battleships mode, where the commander can move the battleship around the map, and a fun thing would be like if the commanders moved the ships next to eachother and they fired on eachother, lol, and the point of the battleship mode is to wipe out the enemy or to destroy the opposing battleship

My hopes are that it turns out like Counter-Strike did, where it started out as a simple mod for Half-Life, but it sprung into its own game, I plan on oneday making a full game based around Archipeligan Warfare, I already have the whole thing planned out almost

That is the Jyrtarr Continent, the continent is about the size of Argentina, actually larger, in Red is the territory of the S.N. Empire, the green is the J.N.R territory, and the purple is the C.N.F land

If we make this into a mod for BF2142, the first release will focus on the S.N. campaign, which in reality, only took place in the Northern part of the continent, the southern campaign never took place, but was planned by the S.N. Military (The S.N.K.K), the S.N. front will take us through dense forests and jungles, rivers, and desert landscapes

In a later release we will do the C.N.F campaign, which is in the southern part of the continent, most maps will be swamps and jungles, both fronts will have alot of city maps

Here is the storyline:

In their year 3000 AK (Their equivilent of "AD") conflict between the S.N. Empire and their rivals, the J.N.R. have had "different interests" on the division of the archipeligo for thousands of years (their modern technology has been around for about 2000 years), the S.N.E. were angered even more when they discovered that the J.N.R. were shipping weapons to rebel groups all around the archipeligo. Then in the year 3001 AK, the J.N.R. invaded the S.N. held city of Aafga-Kan (meaning "desert city"), this gave the S.N. an "excuse" to invade the J.N. homeland. In 3005, the C.N.F, the "peacekeepers" of the archipeligo, invade the southern part of the J.N. home island. Their secret reason is to capture J.N. heavily populated citys before the S.N. do, due to the S.N. Empire's warlike and cruel ways, the C.N.F are sometimes aided by local militias and paramilitary groups, whail the S.N.K.K. (The S.N. military) are hated by every native civilian, militia, ect due to their brutal treatment of "none-Shiaas" (Shiaa is what the "S" in S.N. stands for)

You're not starting a tournament for PoE2 just because Andy kicked you out of FFTF for not coming to the battles.

Unless you get a job that pays 100 bucks an hour, you're never gonna get it off the ground.

Besides, what does UTX stand for? For example, MP stands for Maschine-Pistol, M stands for Model, AK stands for Avtomat-Kalishnikov all that.

I'm guessing it stands for Unreasonably Trashy Xylophone.

UXT stands for, when translated, "Infantry Assault Weapon"
