ATF is a gaming clan that was established in 1998, with the thought of friends and fun-first. We have 13 active gaming divisions, including BF2, BF2142, BF1942, and CS. We currently have over 845 members with 66 in the BF2 division, and we are proud of the established family that we've built. We're looking for more members to expand our very diverse family.
We want team-players that aren't afraid of squading up, and folks that are just looking for a good time. After you apply, you are given our TS information, so that other members can get to know you. After 30 days, your name is brought up in our divisional meeting held every Sunday... if enough people know you, you'll receive confirmation that you've been accepted into the clan! This is when you'll be given instructions to our members-only private forums, and you will be given your rank.
We look for maturity and fun in members, and accept people based on personality more than on in-game skills.
We use a military-style ranking system within the clan, that gives you more leadership and responsibility as your time in the clan increases and as you show signs of leadership. This has worked well for us over the past 8 years.
We also try to run our server as smoothly, and as rule-free as possible. We don't believe in trying to dictate how you are to play the game, and we want to give everyone that visits our servers the most "asshat-free" gaming experience possible. We run punkbuster and punkbusted, and have admins monitoring for hackers around the clock. We don't condone intentional TK's, forcing TK's, or racial slurs or other offensive language; but we don't mind base-raping, stealing the other teams vehicles, and extra kudos are applied for TBags given!
Our 32-man server is based in Dallas and is located at 75.126.13.132. We primarily run vanilla BF2 on this server, with a broad selection of maps.
