Yes gang, we at the Eve of Destrucion mod are back again with another flying update in our series, "An Indian Comes to Battle".

Coming to your rescue upon the battlefield another "Indian variant". This one being the Medevac. The Medevac was based off the new UH-1D. The enlarged cabin could also accommodate six stretchers, double that of the earlier models, making the "Delta" a good medevac aircraft.

Our medevac within EoD is setup to carry 4 wounded soldiers from battle, not counting the pilot and copilot. The pilot has the ability to close the rear main doors with his left mouse button. The forward doors close automatically. All doors open up when the pilot leaves the pilot seat. In addition to controlling the rear doors. The pilot can also play that favorite Vietnam "battle tune" as he flies in to pick up wounded troops with his right mouse button.

The copilot of this chopper is able to supply troops on the ground with medical bags. Yes, a low hover over a wounded troop is required by the pilot, but the copilot can throw down a health bag to heal his wounded comrades with the click of his left mouse or fire button.

This concludes our third installment of an "Indian Comes to Battle".

Stay tuned for more news! :yay:

The model and the textures are amazing. Hopefully the next version of the mod will bring back the life into it.

Me Too! Those are just normal in game screen shots. They are not altered, dressed up or changed in any shape or fashion.

In fact, anything I show is straight from the game to photoshop to add the EoD logo and information about the model. It then gets posted for everyone to see.

Look for more news on aviation related equipment to come soon.

Napalm you say? You lookin' burn down some forest and small villages or just have a little barbecue and cook up a few water buffalo?

If it is any of the above. Well, stay tuned for the next news post.

Me too! :yay: I am hoping we can get some interest sparked back into the mod. We are going to get as much of mod sp and co-op supported as best we can, just in case. However, I believe that there is still alot of life left within this theater of war.

In any case, I have still had a really great time all these years creating this mod and will be continuing to push it along. It is just too of an interesting time in history to be forgotten.
