For those of you who have the Beta, do you think it is worth it to pay $7 for a FP subscription or would it be better to wait?

I'd say its worth it, but I wouldn't go so far as to say its any BETTER than BF2... Just different. Kind of like an expansion pack (a really cool really big one).

It's nice to be able to cut in line of everyone else and get the speed boost, but I'm not going to keep my subscription.

The BF2142 client isn't exactly tiny.

You can look at it the other way too though, it is only 2 weeks till FREE open beta...

Well because I paid the $7 I can download as many other demos/movies off of fileplanet at 1mb/s for the rest of month so ROFLMAO @ you!!!

It all depends how you use the month subscription, if you are just doing it to get the game then maybe its not worth it. For me, I already downloaded at least 80gigs worth of movies and demos all at right around 1mb/s... ElekTriC can roflmao all he wants but I'll tell you its a hell of a deal for me.

I have been seeing tons of hints being dropped on various forums today about an open beta soon, so I may wait or I might subscribe just to have fast d/l times for new demos and things.

From what I have been told it is comming out 9am PST tommorrow and its on FP and I think maybe the EA downloader.

Im also waiting for my graphics card. I have crappy on-board graphics right now and i wont be able to run bf2142. What card you getting anyway? im getting the Evga 7600GT KO.
