Realism or Not?

Good Morning and Happy New Year To All:


It's been ahwile since the 1st Team has recruited here. With the holidays around, it was rather busy on our end.

However, I have returned this morning to again offer a sanctuary for all realism gamers still around. But first I want to ask you a few things.

1. Have you tried joining a realism unit, just to be considered another number? Did you even know the names of your command staff?

2. Have you ever wondered what working as a unit in a U.S. Army based group would be like?

3. Are you tired of joining the "kiddie run" clans that have the maturity level of a wet rock?

If you answered yes, then you need to come over to the unit that has what you have been looking for. The 1st Cavalry Division.

We have been around since 2003 and exist to honor our brothers and sisters in the real 1st Team. Our gaming is a tribute to the soldiers of the "First Team" that do this on a real level............every day.

What do we have to offer you?
1. Operational and PreSet Command staff and company organization.
2. We have our own server tower, allowing us up to 25 servers on any game.
3. All of our command and leader elements are over 25 and most are prior or current U.S. Military.
4. We have a unit and server for each of the following game platforms:
a. Battlefield 1942:Forgotten Hope
b. Battlefield Vietnam
c. Battlefield 2
d. Battlefield 2:Forgotten Hope 2
e. Call of Duty 4

We even have our own server for those who enjoy Flight Simulator 2004.

The "First Team" is still looking for active members that simply wan't more from their game. As my post stated above, we are accepting members from all over the globe for several of the active companies we have in place. If you have one of these games/mods, and wan't to experience these from a tactical realism point of view, you NEED to come talk to a recruiter today:

Battlefield 1942 (supported mods-Forgotten Hope)
Battlefield 2 (supported packs/mods-Special Forces, Armored Fury, Euro Forces, Forgotten Hope 2, Allied Intent Extended)
Call of Duty 4
America's Army:Special Forces

We have servers up for all of the games/mods to include ranked servers.


Now why would you wan't to go cav?

1. Although we are a TRU (Tactical Realism Unit), we pride ourselves on truly being a "family". Just as the 1st Cav of the real Army, each and every member is looked after, trained, and supported. Both in the unit, and when real life issues occur.

2. We were formed, and are currently staffed by members of the actual U.S. Military. Some of us being actual 1st Cavalry Division members. No kiddie clan issues or drama here. Just hardcore gaming.
