need help!!

ok, i downloaded and installed AIX. i try to run it, the screen goes black, which i assume is nowmal, but then it CTD, and my compuner screen is going up and down really fast, and i have to restart:confused:

have you patched your BF2 to v1.41? (full patch recommended, the incremental patches sometimes cause more errors than they fix)

ok, i think i figured out the problem. i recentley switched monitos and now im hooked up to a tv, and the retarded tv dosent let me veiw anything in 800x600, so i think i have to plug it back in to the old monitor, and change it back to the 1024x768(or watever), but i will patch bf2 to 1.41 as well, see if that helps anything.

ok, i patched it, but i still have a problem. it just does the same thing, but without the screen moving up and down really fast. i think it may have to do with the installation of the patch. in the middle of the installation, a window pops up saying
BF2CDKeyCheck.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
if i click end now, it will continue the installation, and says it succesfilly completes it, but nothing is patched, but my settings and profiles are deleted.
what do i do!?!?!?!

erm, I dont think that there really is a .exe for a Bf2 cd key check.. = /

i had this problem, turned out it was the shortcut i was using. created a new shortcut on the desktop and it worked fine.

dont ask me why, just worked.

Uninstall AiX and BF2, then Re-install BF2, patch to 1.4 with the big 500mb patch, then install AiX.

Also check that your PC Specs are in the recomended range for AiX as it needs alotta juice.

Here's what my shortcut looks like "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/aix +Playnow 1 +fullscreen 0 +szx 1024 +szy 768

If you reinstalled bf2>1.4>aix and it still gives you the problem, use my shortcut code instead, but make sure it finds your bf2.

(In the BF2 folder > Support/ there is a cd key checker by EA, but it doesnt work.)
