I was over at your "other forum"...
looking at this CONNECTION ERROR THREAD (http://battlefieldsingleplayer.planetbattlefield.gamespy. com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9795).
I did not see a response.
I am having the very same trouble connecting:
The error is that I am "not running the same mod as the game server".
I have admin access to the server via BF2CC, and I need to know what to do myself to avoid opening another ticket for the techs who have not installed this mod before.

I talked my squad in to getting an unranked BF2..and installing AIX.
..and I....cannot....bloody....connect to.....PLAY!! AAAHHHGGGG :D

Our server host did not know how to set up the server.
They are a fantastic host, best customer service, but they missed a small problem.
The ROOT FOLDER needs to be named <aix> ONLY. (just like it says in the teeny tiny print at the AIX server files download section)
The server never knew where to look for files due to some custom name.
..nothing to see here; move along :cool:
