CoD4 Community Mod Starting

ok folks im getting started with a mod for cod4 and all. im currently undergoin an getting a site up and from there. i hope to start on a mod that will hopefuly turn out well. ive started on one weapon bymyself with little time i have. i run a server an work full time yatta yatta an i am lookin for some people that might whould like to help. with the mod and mapping an site and skinning an stuff. i have a clan and a server you dont necearly have to join the clan. but whould love to have you an love to have some help with this. its not got a name an im pondering some ideas like different crosshairs for the scopes an stuff. i cant do all this bymyself an whould love to have some help an even learn stuff. well let me know id love to hear from you.

can i ask wats the goal of this mod? i may beable to do some skinning for you depends how my attempt at a mod (aussie mini mod) goes and if i can get it off the ground or not...

i can add the laser point to the gun when ya night vision is turned on. havnt figured out how to make a laser gun heh

If you really want to "help others" i would love to help you out :) in terms of you teaching me :laugh:! I got maya and am learning my way through it (book+internet), cs2 experience, and trying to find a d/l for zbrush. I know i wouldn't be much help, but if you showed me how to rig or do other boreing stuff i would gladly do it :)! Whatever it is idc, eventually (probably not this mod) i would like to work my way up and try textureing out, i want to be an animator and i got a grad friend from a local college who told me it would be a good start to help out with moding. IDK, at the least if you have a question about basic stuff i could probably forward it to him (aka not about cod4 modding, but modding in general).
