Battlefield Heroes First-Person Plans

Upset about the game only being in third person? Well that may not be the case after all. Blue's News (http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=84413) is reporting that the French site NoFrag (http://www.nofrag.com/2008/jan/23/27807/) contacted EA and received clarification on the issue. Take a look:

French site NoFrag asked EA France about last night's indications that Battlefield Heroes will be third-person only. According to their contact, the game will feature both first- and third-person perspectives, depending on the gameplay situation. They say they expect DICE to offer more details soon to put Battlefield Heroes' perspective in perspective.

We'll have to wait and see on this until we get official confirmation from the guys at DICE (http://www.dice.se/)!

And I have to hear this now that I know I can't play the game I am dissapointed in DICE and EA and have no respect left for EA anymore though some respect still remains with DICE there is little left now knowing that I can't play it and neither can half the world. Well It'll be fun if its in a FPS style now :(

I thought this would be the case to be honest, third person is only really good for MMORPGs or similar games, fps can work in third person it just not as fun :).
