More then two years ago, Electronic Arts bought out DICE (Digital Illusions CE), the developers of Battlefield series. Even still, Battlefield 2 is a popular first person shooter game. Yes, the sequel-of-sorts, Battlefield 2142, was not affably met by fans and simple gamers, but has enough players and servers to remain active.
Now, members of EA DICE are working on Mirror’s Edge (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), which was announced this last summer and will be shipping your way to the shelves this year. So while they're busy, it's not on the BF project. However…
When the last patch for BF2142 was released not long ago, the Stats issue was unfortunately dropped. Also, Digital Illusions are still searching for a Community Managersfor DICE Live and a "yet undisclosed project." A thorough check of the position's listed responsibilities and specifications will reveal interesting tips which point to a Battlefield-related game.
