constant CTD's.. from the most stupid stuff.

So I have been playin PR mod for a while now, and everytime, and I mean EVERYTIME i go to use something that I have never used before, like running over and getting on a 30 cal and than shooting it, my pc will lock up and CTD or just restart. Today I through a rock as a civilian and my pc just crashed... :mad::confused::cry::(

I never CTD in bf2, or lock up or anything of that nature, this only happens in PR Mod.

It did not work to clean out the cache folder, I crashed while getting into a A-10.

I am running mid - low with my 7950.. My friend has that same card just without the HDCP running on mid-high with 1 gig..

Thats wierd. Try posting this on our official Pr forums. There are lots more players there which should see you getting more suggestions. Dont give up! :)

Its your GFX Card, its happening, cuz when you enter a 30cal or A-10. Your GFX card renders it, but it must be too much for your card. Which seems Odd... What 7950 you got?

Have you moved or opened your pc and your parts aren't grounded right?

If the case got twisted whilst moving it, the graphics card might not be seated right anymore. Something could have flapped about inside, a spare untidy cable that grounds against another component.

If all else fails, reinstall windows. With a slipstreamed disc you'll be up and running with usual software within 2.5hrs on a decent pc and that can frequently be a lot faster than trying to diagnose problems!

and i'v just reformatted a week ago, i don't need to reinstall windows. I'm not a noob about pc's, this is just f'ing weird because i'v tried so much **** nothing is working. I can play, but when I use a something new that my pc has never rendered before it crashes.

Regarding the CTDing
Do you have any backround programs running, IE, hidden backround programs, search for viruses and spyware, adaware and so on.

also, have you tried re-starting?
