First Screenshots Released

While these screenshots aren't official ones from DICE (http://www.dice.se/), thanks to BF-Games (http://www.bf-games.net/index.php?action=readnews&newsid=7674) we have four new screen caps for Battlefield Heroes (http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/) from a German television channel, 3Sat. Hope it's gonna be like Call of Duty 4 where you don't have loading times of 3 minutes. I can get on a server and start to frag in under 20 seconds! That what i like the most about that game :D

hmmm the graphics remind me of the 1990's, especially those trees!I was kind of hoping for a more modern cartoon style,guess they cant rip to much off of tf2.

Game looks great, apart from the fact that they seemed to have made everything blurry.

yep i was focusing on pc with that little graphic (actually i forgot there were BF games for the consoles :p , but theres no harm if people dont know... wait ... now people know... DAMN! I KILL YOU!)

anyway i love the cartoonish style of the game, its hard to find games that are fun to play and look at these days, everything is too realistic and serious.

i miss the good old days where the graphics was the last thing developers worried about, remember the Lucas Arts graphic adventures? maniac mansion, MM:DOTT, monkey island, and so on, everything looked cartoonish and after all these years are still fun to play.

i was hoping BF3 would be WWII to be honest, but since BF:H is, i'm happy anyway, i hope it has as many vehicles and large good maps as BF1942 :)

Rumor has it that BF3 was gonna be Modern Warfare again like BF2 even before BF:H was announced.

Every possible conflict has already passed the theather already. Vietnam, WWII, Modern Warfare and Future Warfare. Cold War conflicts have been done too many times this year and i really hope a good WWII game will bring a WWII theme back to other developers.

There are far more wars than just the Korean War. A sh*t loads more. I don't think Korea on its own is significant.

how about a game where u evolve into different wars. Starting with WWI --> WWII--> Korea --> Vietnam --> Cold War? --> Modern/ Desert Storm --> Future?. but you can go back to the time periods as often as you would like.

Different game modes that resemble a different time in each war and you can go back and fourth.

So much variety would be awesome.

You could have a map in a city in WW1 then go into the future game mode in the same city where it is ruins and rubble. Would be awesome.

I love seeing games introduce the history system in the way that much like highway tampa for BF2 evolves into highway tampa for BF2142.

No shortage of people killing each other. Political speaking the Korean war may have been more important, but is that really a factor we need to consider for a FPS?
Most of the BF2 maps are relatively unimportant conflicts.

Btw the Korean War was before MAD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutual_assured_destruction) was an issue, so the use of nuclear weapons was more comparable with the end of WWII and did not carry the same "DOOM" implications as it would later.
Still nasty business of course.
