Crysis other than video games?

After playing crysis, thinking it might be cool if it was made into a movie or somewhat along the lines of that. Surely since it's a video game, the movie can shorten it down with less action scenes, or a tv series like band of brothers. Post your thoughts

I have seen the DOOM 3 movie, i have a copy too...
But it wasnt very good, it was good but not very good...

The problem with movies based on games is that depend totally on player base (instead of quality) to make profits. This ends up with half @$$ed movies that really suck. So yes a Crysis movie would own, but only if the director and writer actully played the game all the way through and liked it.
