Due to requests from the community, a US Intevention server has been put back online!

Why play US Intervention?

Unlike some mods out there, USI's content is fresh. There are no "vanilla" weapons or vehicles. They are all original creations from the USI team or other mod teams in Black Sand Studios. Why have a vanilla cone when you can have a banana split! ;)

Click here (http://blacksandstudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=902) for the content thread for USI v.15!

Original maps

USI has 11 original maps, ranging from close combat city warfare to all out desert warfare with tanks, motorized artillery, helos and planes! There are also three classic BF2 maps remade for USI!

Original vehicles!

New planes (including three variations of the A-10), new helo's, new tanks, new trucks and mobile artillery are all included!

...and tons more! Check out the USI content thread (http://blacksandstudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=902) for a complete list!

What I don't understand is why doesn't this mod have their OWN links on their very OWN website... it would be so much easier. I've had to google it to find it and the links you provided help but I'm not going to set up an account with fileplanet if I can get anything anywhere else for free. Besides I've gave this mod a few chances but it won't ever start on my computer, I can't tell whether it's a faulty file or what but I'm pretty sure I installed it right and my computer runs every other mod out there just fine. I would give it another shot but I won't get it from fileplanet and btw, is there a single player mode? I think that's the best way to get used to the gameplay before going to play online... :|: Hope the new patch brings this mod to life... Even though I never played it, it's sad that a lot of effort went into it and people won't even play it.

I don't know why they haven't updated their homepage with links, but in their forums, they have links to the files:

Also, on the BSS downloads page you can find links to the .15 files and .16 patch:

I plan on being on the server at 9pm eastern time tonight, so if anyone is interested, please join me.

As far as the single player - it fully supports single player.

Well, if I can get home, eat, download and install USI before 8:00pm tonight (I live in the central time zone) then I'll see if I can get on and play with you and some other people. :D

lol. It's possible but I'm gonna have to multi-task.

Well, you were the only one then? That sucks pretty bad. Sorry dude. :(

I guess I'm the only one that has even looked at this thread so I suppose no one else knew about it. Btw, when is that new build supposed to occur or is it already in progress? A new release might capture the attention of the community but then again, you need to do some persuading that USI is indefinently superior to Desert Combat. :) (I didn't care for it much) shhh! Don't tell anyone. ;)
