A number of SWAT4 clans created a whole lot of different firing range type maps, with a fully functional range with targets (moving of course), aswell as an entry practice course.
The question is: when will we be expecting something similar for COD4? A map for flick aim practice, target prioritizing practice, et cetera et cetera, can we expect something like this to come out?

I never heard of firing range maps when i was active in SWAT 4... :(
Too bad that i hear about them just now. I could have held some good drills for the clan in the range...

I wouldn't expect anything like this if I were you. The closet thing to what I think you're talking about would be Rifle Range for Call of Duty by Bodger2 and Bdbodger. http://callofduty.filefront.com/file/;40691
AFAIK, Bodger2 isn't on the net much and Bdbodger isn't doing CoD4. Other than them, I don't see any rifle ranges coming out as there aren't that many good scripters in the community that I know of. The closest you might get would be still targets, and it doesn't seem like that's what you're looking for.

Would be kind of cool to see the actual training map in CoD4 single player to be made into something for multiplayer. It has all you really need, minus the long range ranges. It has the CQB section the ranges and the grenade range. Could be pretty cool. To be honest im surprised that not many people have played with that map.

Just skimmed through the data sheet, and its impressive. Thats pretty much exactly what I had in mind. A dedicated, all purpose map with everything one would ever need to practice the skill (hand eye coordination) related parts of their game. Considering that after such a long time, noone has stepped up, its disappointing. Then again, it took quite some time until the really good SWAT4 maps like these came out.
I must have spent at least 100 hours, if not more, in both the "Training" section of SWAT4, aswell as a few clan maps. After those practice runs, I could usually flick aim hackers off the map. COD4 would seriously need this type of a map.
www.missionred.com will only do so much.

funny you mention this myself and a mate are curently making a training map for our clan... its losely based off the F.N.G map and is going to have alot of the stuff the old BHC training map for cod2 had.
