The folks creating the CryGate Mod have updated their Work in Progress board to showcase some details about the mod's environments, vehicles, and characters:
With the CryGate Mod (http://www.crymod.com/moddbslist.php?id=144) proceding further in its development, the mod team has recently updated their WIP thread with quite a a few new ingame screenshots. They show off a colony of the planet earth and also the french member of the international Stargate team. The mod is based on the Stargate series, but uses new content and characters to avoid infringing on copyrights.
Set in the year 2021, the story takes place in a fictional universe. The Orca War has come to an end, thanks to the Humans. But many people lost their lives. Soon, a new government is created. Fifteen years later, a new threat gathers strength, and begins attacking Human outposts. Your job is to find a weapon that will put an end to a newly-developed war with the Skuls, an alien race that seeks to destroy the Human race. The missions will be action-packed, and will change every time, so no 2 experiences will be exactly alike.
