The BattleGroup-Frontlines (http://www.bgfmod.com/) mod team is back today with their latest media update. Here's what they had to say:
Welcome to the 60th Update of Battlegroup Frontlines! First we want to tell you that we are still working on the patch, but our coder is suffering from hardware problems, therefore progress is really slow right now. The patch should still be released soon.
Let us come to the actual details of the update. Today we want to show you the German Nebelwerfer 41. It was completely done by our multi-talented Koricus, because it was not just modelled and skinned by him, but also coded by him and finetuned by takiwa.
The Nebelwerfer 41 is a rocket-launching artillery piece with six barrels. Each barrel fires a 75 pound 150 mm rocket out to a range of about 6800 metres (more than 4 miles). Due to the light impact of its weaponry the Nebelwerfer is almost useless against tanks and other armored targets, but the dense and substained impact of its multiple rockets makes it remarkably lethal when used against unarmored enemy infantry.
