Community member Zeroy is back today with the final release version for his BF2 remake map. Take a look:
Ok so it took many beta versions, but the final map is finally here! Get the Night Vision goggles as well because a night version is there too. Be gentle it's my first map for any game, when a lot of you already played on the beta 1 and 2 i hope you'll enjoy this final version even more.
Myself and Chaz spend many hours this week polishing up this version. Thanks to you all mappers , server admins, players this final should be bug/glitch free and has a few more open areas (thanks Imagination for the tips).
Two slight issues I could not get around:
• The map is still over 50mb (bah, im sure you all have fast internet)
• Map isn't portalled (despite help from top mappers I still can't get my head around it) FPS should be ok though as i greatly reduced the model count.
Changes in this version:
• New minimap
• New Loadscreen
• TV Station sides can be accessed again
• Added way around the hills between Axis spawn and TV Station
• Removed Leaking/Explosive barrels (issues with oil decals)
• Added breakable glass to the Double container and fence
• Added night version with modded building/added models
