Cologne v1.0 Map Released

Our community member kaheiyeh has released his very anticipated BF2142 map today, Cologne. Here's what he had to say:

The wait is over! I'm proud to present to the Total Battlefield 2142 community my custom map, Cologne!

Cologne pits the PAC against the EU who have been trapped by the closing ice and the ever present PAC force. The EU must break out of the city if they are to survive. This map is an urban map with minimal use of vehicles (A single walker and APC at the most).

Try out Titan Mode in the dense urban areas of Cologne! Fierce gunship battles will erupt between buildings and only the best pilots can navigate the skies above Cologne!

Cologne includes:
- 16/32/64 Player Conquest
- 48 Player Titan

16 Player Singleplayer is slated to be released within 1 months time.

Known Issues:
- The minimap displays the titan wrongly. This cannot be fixed as it is hardcoded by DICE.
- There is a tree half into a building only visible on titan mode and does not pose a gameplay issue.
- The loading screen description and flag names are not properly displayed. This cannot be fixed.

I also found some minor bugs like the crates in the buildings and the rubble floating like 10cm above the snow. but other than that its a amazing map which will be in my mod :D

Alas, there seems to be no servers running it, like all customs maps (the downside of the ranking) :(

That's always the problem with custom stuff.

Other than that, it looks awesome!

So far i've found one server but in Australia (my ping was like 400), so AAK625 if you manage to run it will be nice :)

And yes, great map from what I saw, really it's a shame that EA don't accept some custom maps in their ranking system from time to time or something like that.

Anyway, I can't find any servers running it... And yes, I do have everything unchecked in the advanced search, including "Ranked", "Not Full", "Not populated", "Auto balance" etc...

I've played on the Sir. Server for a few minutes to check out the map.. looks quite good!!..
It's a shame there aren't many people having it..
Some peepz should try and promote the map and get the servers full and running..!

Ok, I'll get a server up for this, running Conquest and Titan, 48 slots. It'll be on our dedicated box located in Virginia. Most Euro players get 100 - 150 ping on our other servers, so give it a try even if you're in Europe.
