Posted under the new Community Heroes (http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/community-heroes) section of the Battlefield Heroes (http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/) site is a round up of blogs talking about the game. Check it out:
Part of being a Play 4 Free title is ravenously keeping up with what’s going on in the community. Here’s a few of the most recent posts we’ve perused:
• Objective514 examines how Play 4 Free titles might work (http://objective514.wordpress.com/2008/02/18/hold-x-to-pay-for-weapon-upgrade/) and how Battlefield Heroes fits into this.
• At the 2008 Worlds in Motion Summit, Adrian Crook credits Heroes as being a highly polished product (http://www.worldsinmotion.biz/2008/02/wim_summit_adrian_crook_talks.php) that will raise the quality bar of Play 4 Free games.
• Ad Watch at GameDaily News interviews Ben Cousins about the Play 4 Free (http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/features/ad-watch-ad-sponsored-games-enter-battlefield/71374/) business model.
• Jason illustrates his frustration at the continuing lack of female models in war titles (http://weblog.probablynot.com/2008/02/19/bring-on-the-women/) and hopes that Heroes, with its more cartoon-like style, will change this.
Thanks for the posts, can’t wait to read more!
