The developers of the Project Efflux Mod have posted an extensive update including renders, in-game screenshots, and two videos: Today we would like to give you an update on Project Efflux, a mod which is being developed by Novu and Riverghost and focuses on space themed gameplay. We have a batch of cool new screenshots about the AOM and Misian, the two races in this mod. To recap, Project Efflux is about the conflict between the two races in space and introduces new features such as a Dynamic Damage system and Zero-G Multiplayer combat.
AOM Faction - Character WIP Screenshots
The AOM - Alliance Of Man, are the largest surviving faction of humanity left in local space. Adapted for long zero gravity exposure, AOM humans are in reality much more frail than their planetary bound descendants.
To compensate for this, all frontline AOM forces wear Silicate Exoskeletal Amor. this powered armor maintains life support, can be worn for an extended period (up to 8 days), and more importantly, houses a variety of tools and weapons for use at the wearers disposal.
The team shows off quite a few WIP screenshots of the exoskeletal. These screenshots consist of early concept art, a render shot and already an impressive ingame picture.
