Install Maps

I try to install the map(shipment2 and others) but i cant, e doesn't apear in the list.:confused:
i copy the folder to "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\zone\english\" were located the other maps(original maps) but he dosen't work.:mad:

Anybody can help me?

Put the custom map files in "[root]\usermaps\<mapname>\".

For example, "[root]\usermaps\mp_shipment2\", and in that folder you will have mp_shipment2.ff, mp_shipment2_load.ff, and mp_shipment2.iwd (if there's an IWD for the map).

You will need to start a mod (e.g., ModWarfare), bring down console, and type "/map <mapname>" (i.e., "/map mp_shipment2")

Whats Root? Where do you create the "usermaps" folder?

Ok - just create the a folder called "usermaps" and dump the files there.

Hey all.

I'm an admin over at the |aow| servers. We're interested in putting up some of these custom maps on our server.

My question is about mods being loaded.

Do we have to have something like Modwarfare loaded or can we just play in our hardcore mode with these maps? :confused:

If so, can someone leave a brief tut on how to get them to work?

Any tips would be much appreciated. :rock:
