The Point of Existence 2 (http://www.pointofexistence.com/) mod team is back today with their latest update. Here's what they had to say:

This week we will be showcasing some of the details that D_FAST has been working on. D_FAST has been one of the driving forces behind POE since the POE1 days. He has done coding, modeling, statics and quite a bit of concept work. This showcase of his attention to detail is testament to his work ethic.

A new member to our forums, Shmidt recently brought examples of tank huds to our attention. This inspired D_FAST to revamp the appearance of our heavy tank huds. In addition to the obvious visual changes, if you watch the movie you will find that he has also adjusted the hit indicator to better blend with the new huds. We have also fixed the issue of your hud disappearing when you face into the sun as shown in the final screen shot in this series.

FBMantis brought the issue of our pickup kits icons not being represented in the squad window properly. D_FAST took this as a challenge to come up with a new set of icons for our numerous pickup kits.

As you can see in the following screen shots, the Mortar now has its own symbol. For anti-material sniper and heavy anti tank, we left them with the original icons for the kits and gave the standard kits new icons. The standard sniper kit is represented by a scoped rifle icon and the standard AT kit is represented by a mine icon (Since the heavy AT kits don't have them).

Good news..I need to reinstall this mod and try it again.

How many people are playing it during peak times now? I saw 40 this morning :confused:

TG server fills to 62 most week nights and is populated most of the weekend.
There are 2 German servers (WATTWUERMER and t.N.t) that fill during the weekday and a Russian server (Crossnet) that sees about 20-30 people (good if 64 is too laggy for ye, it runs and pings well too).
OBS server in Holland is full Tuesday night for the weekly 'Sheep Wars' event.
Datorbutiken server in Sweden is full Wednesday night for the weekly 'Midweek mayhem' event.

If you want tournament play then FFTF is available, they are a free POE2 tournament with close to 200 enlisted players, their battle server maxes out all weekend.
