The game itself is extremely slow and inaccurate really not happy with it at all and when i got my second 8800GT and sli'd i figured it would take some lag out but nope.... it only got worse is it just my set up or all of you guyz feel the same about the game??

SLi wasn't supported in the beginning with crysis, but form what I understand patches/drivers were released to help resolve the problems, when I was running with two 7900GTX in SLi i had to play about with the settings in the nvidia control panel to get the effect I wanted, try the various rendering modes, find the one that suites best, crysis can be a b**** on the beastiest of systems dont think you can go for uber graphics just because your running in SLi. Its all really about looking at all the settings until you find something that is suitable for you and your system!

the game auto sets everything to VERYHIGH settings but even with it on HIGH as opposed to VERYHIGH its laggy and u can sit there and shoot the enemy in the head 5-6 times with no result... Now when u play COD4 or couterstrike u hit some1 with a headshot they are DONE.. the gameplay just isent there

I think bottlenecked CPU.
2.67Gz Dual core?

That CPU should be able to handle it. My E6600 clocked at 3.2 handled two Ultras fine.

What Video driver are you using with that SLI setup?

The Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz should be a pretty big improvement over my 2.66 no???
and its werid cause I downloaded the latest drivers from nvidia but as soon as i changed it to SLI mode Vista removed those drivers and supposedly installed the correct ones... doesnt even have a driver version # on it.
I have no real problems with COD4 on highest settings altho i cant honestly say i see an improvement with SLI'. (when im close to a peice of glass and shooting thru it it seems to be slowing down/laggin)
My next upgrade is gona be the cpu I was lookin @ that Q6600 and the E8400 what do ya guys think? im not tryna spend a 1000 bucks lol
