The full interview on Battlefield Heroes (http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/) has now been posted by Total PC Gaming (http://www.totalpcgaming.com/). Check it out:
TPCG: So you’re developing a character like you would in an RPG?
BC: Role-playing, without it being an RPG. You are playing a role and we all have fun with naming our character and putting a little hat on them.
TPCG: But won’t higher level characters have a massive advantage over lower levels?
BC: High-level characters do have a massive advantage over other players but what we’ve got is a match-making system which means that you’ll never meet them if you’re a beginner. There’s all these games going on in the world and if you’re a level 1 or 2 and not very skilled you’ll be playing beginners and you’ll be muddling through the game and people will be crashing their vehicles. But then there’s another sector of gamers at the top who are the guys with the super gaming rigs who are playing all the time and they’re getting into competitive play and maybe they’re the guys who are buying items as well. We’ve separated them all out with match-making.
