I think its high time for COH 2. i want the russians and japs added in the next installment and i would like to see off map arty and the british type arty to not be included. we can have katyushas, and napalm bombs in COH 2. i want to see us marines, russian conscripts, japanese suicide charges, and german panzer commanders. i want to see iwo jima and kursk, paleleu and stalingrad. comon and announce the release already!

Nah, the less X's the better, the balance is taking a while to get good after 1 x pack, a new game would be much better.

dude, I'm kinda upset that I beat the campaign in like 3 days, Multiplayer just doesnt give me that certain feel that the campaign does.

I really hope they make a CoH 2, focusing on the North African part of WW2, and maybe as well as the Pacific theater. As well as the Russian side/Stalingrad/Berlin/etc.

I really wanna see the eastern front too! And perhaps the pacific but its so much jungle it feels like you wouldn't be able to see your units! :D

CoH in the Pacific would require a whole new engine, because it would be island hopping so you would need to develop boats and stuff lolz.

Anyways yes I think they would probably need a completely new engine for the pacific. But still I would REALLY like to see the western front but also actually going into Germany would be cool.

I would rather the game stayed with WW2, much more interesting, especially the campaigns imo.

Yeah i wouldn't want modern combat neither, people complain that there is too much ww2 in todays computer games while I wish there was more! :D

Yes off map arty coming from ships would be really cool! The original game is a bit too zoomed in to have ships to play with though.. :( IF you could zoom out further ships would be awesome! Also more planes over all would be cool and perhaps civilians? Like in C&C Tiberian Sun! :D

I really want to have dow with an upgraded version of the coh engine. Space marines using cover and so on would be nice. Also the vehicle physics in dow are really bad, it mostly seems like the tanks are made of plastic, compared to coh.

To refer to the topic:
For CoH2 I want to see the eastern and/or the pacific theater. Japanese stabbing with their bajonettes of their katanas would be awesome, close combat in general is something that is missing in coh.

Sea fights would also be a great addition, air combat is a bit hard to handle, maybe like in the CnC parts, where you have your airfield which produces the planes.

Yes close combat should really be added! :D Forgot about that... The infamous Japanese bayonet charges where they would sprint at the enemy in the night being completely silent until they actually engaged in combat.

Imagine sitting there having your coffee and suddenly a whole Japanese squadron is on top of you poking all your mates with bayonets! I think this could be a cool in-game feature.

Also I don't mean controllable planes but just more plane features in the Company Commander Aids. Just because I like the planes flying over the battlefield and when some get shot down etc... ;)

Yes you feel very limited in most games and you usually wish it was more zoomed out. I think World in Conflict did a great job on this however! :)

I'm pretty sure they did use katanas, if you've played Medal Of Honor: Rising Sun or Pacific Assault, you should know.

Yes that is a very good point, it would be nice to have a little break from the Germans and see something different. But I really, REALLY want to see snow and Russians. Lols would be cool to make a "1 weapon on every 10 soldiers" mod to a Russian expansion!

Also traps made by the Japanese would be awesome! Little holes with sharpened bamboo and this whole guerrilla style warfare! :D Japanese troops should really be able to hide in bushes and behind trees etc.
