Dead Space Developer Diary [Archive]

EA (http://www.ea.com/) has released a new developer diary video today that features a lot of commentary and ingame footage for their upcoming sci-fi survival horror game, Dead Space (http://deadspace.ea.com/). Now I LOVE scary games, Doom 3 is easily my favourite game of all time. I like the concept on this but I'm not sure how the third person will pan out as first person makes you feel like you are the person surviving and IMO adds to the scariness. I hope they realise that sound and music is one of the most critical points of a scary game.

I look forward to seeing a lot more on this.

I think it will be a good mix of the Resident Evil series and Doom 3. I know when I played Resident Evil 4 there were many times I got scared and Doom 3 didn't scare me as much but it had a good atmosphere to scare. If Dead Space takes the best from both of these games, I think it will be awesome. Hopefully there won't be any player camera issues either.
