View Full Version : Is this possible!?

This happened to me today and was wondering if this is possible without hacks...!?

Basically I came out of PAC's base in a FAV, and just on the ramp I pressed the turbo boost. At top speed and after like 10 yards (near the post) I was shot dead by a 2-3 bullet burst only from a krylov!! From someone past the rorshe and past the barrel, hiding behind another post!!! It was such a long distance and as I was moving at top speed, I was very suspect. :hmm:

I told the dude, and him and his clan mates said it was a normal do-able shot and that he is deadly with the krylov. I am quiet lethal with the gun, but I have never seen someone pull off that shot, especially only firing one burst and not missing one bullet.

I usually find it hard to shoot people dead in fav's even in short distances, let alone long ones...

In all my hours I have only seen this happen once before, when it was some guy using an aimbot.

I have tried to show you the positions on the map. What do you guys think?

Did you see this in BattleRecorder? How do you know his position? Could be just luck... What happened for the rest of the round?

No battlerecorder, but my fav went forward when i died and I saw where he was on my death screen. In the round he was good with the krylov, but still on the suspect side....

It could remain suspect, but one thing to consider: You die very swiftly when taking bullets in the FAV because you are probably 50% headshots, with only your upper torso being exposed otherwise.

Still, kinda funky considering your speed and location.

Off topic, but I love shooting cheeseballs at the front windshield of a speeding FAV... 2 Free kills for me!

If you were headed straight for him it is possible, although I don't think he would be able to do it "all the time". He would only have to land a couple headshots and as has been pointed out that is likely if he is shooting through the front of the "windshield area."

Sheer luck makes many things possible Shaz.

More investigation would be required.

I wasnt heading towards him, I was heading to toll station....

Possible - yes, likely - no.

Maybe a lucky shot but hard to tell one way or the other.

Playing Gib the other night I came across my first absolute positive aimbotter. This guy was running around using a Park like an assault rifle. Went by the name of el_Knifer or somthing similar.

aimbotters are odd creatures because they are really good shots but from thier movements they will generally come across as stupid people, which kind of gives them away.

I dont know about this guy though, thats awfully hard to do from the look of it. idk. meh some times i'll shoot at someone with an assault rifle and almost instakill them for some reason and i knew for a fact that i shouldnt have killed them that fast caus i didnt even shoot them in the head which is kind of odd meh maybe he had that and was lucky idk

I know what you mean. I was having a hard time dealing with a particular enemy who seems to know every corner i would come out of, but when i threw a grenade at him, he stood there looking dumb before getting fragged.

I think it is either very lucky or very bulls**t. If it happens more than once, than perhaps its suspicious

i have done that from the position you say on two occasions using the baur. cmon we all know how many seemingly impossible shots a relatively skilled player can pull off, so unless you can really call them on cheating just assume you got pwnd ;)

yeah i feel it would be pretty hard to get really good at shooting stuff WITHOUT also increasing your skills at other basic stuff such as movement and evasion.

Geez, you worry about one kill and spend a whole thread on it? Can't we create a separate section in TBF called "Report Impossible Kills by Haxo|2 Here"?

Very possible but a little lucky to say the least.

A long time ago, I ran out of ammo and pulled out mah Takao, killed the guy in front of me but missed with the last shot and did a headshot on a guy > 30 meters away that I didn't even see - everyone were screaming hacks but I was just lucky :D

Never underestimate the power of a little luck ;)

I think your killer was surprised aswell, because he probably intended to just damage the buggy

I once headshot somebody on the run that I was meant to spot. Somehow I missed 'q' key and hit him in the head. Ironically, that earned me an infiltrator pin.

I have never seen this before might be a aim bot, i just cant see how a normal person can do that.
