The Project Reality (http://www.realitymod.com) team has released their latest dev diary regarding the new RAF Tornado GR4. Here is what they had to say:

The RAF Tornado GR4 is a Fighter-Bomber, 2 seater twin engine class of Jet which is capable of low-level, super sonic flight and comes with a few other neat features like sweep back wings and capable of delivering a wide variety of weapons. Thou they are more or less the same aircraft, there is a few differences thou most of them being software and bits under the skin that you cant see, there is a few small difference like the TIALD (Thermal Imaging Airborne Laser Designator) pod, the Sky Shadow-2 electronic countermeasures pod and a few other small things, which have been modeled, UVed, imported and attached by myself.
The skin tweaks have been done by [R-CON]Geze which has been doing a really nice job on lots of our skin tweaks as to date. The new Paveway II LGB (Laser Guided Bomb) and Brimstone Air to Surface AT Missile where modeled and skinned by [R-DEV]Stigger (which you can also see on his Harrier renders) and Imported by myself.

I bet you're now wondering if the explosions and damage from the larger bomb size capacity of the specialised bomber capabilities of the Tornado which has been used to effect within the international arena in Iraq and other conflicts has been tweaked to suit?

This is only one of the toys coming your way.

Generally, fixes to a build can now be distributed as a patch. But each build of PR that comes along that jumps an entire number tends to have so much new content that a new patch doesn't work out. In fact, it is almost like you are getting a new mod each time and so worth the download. As you have already seen, the leap in factions, statics, vehicles, etc has been worth the download data amount!

Maps do contain a vast amount of data and approximately 40% of a complete download (to my understanding) and this content isn't inconsistent with other gaming areas. Don't be using a roaming moble phone plan whilst in another country to download it though!

We understand a proportion of fans are on restricted ISP packages, especially our australian friends. In these cases, if the communities are tight then they might want to think about having a sorting house where one person downloads and burns to discs and posts/hands them out to their community. That's just one option available to them though.

Sexy. :D
Make it hard to fly, don't want it to destroy all the tanks on the field.

Keep up the excellent work. PR FTW.

so its not gonna be a patch? i dont understand :(

each full release ie, v0.2, v0.3, v0.4, v0.5, v0.6, v0.7, v0.8, v0.9 etc will be full installers (ie, not patches) as lots of things can go wrong in patches and its always best to keep it from a full install for each version. If for example its a patch for a main release, ie v0.7 to v0.75 with just small bug fixes then we release both a full install, and a patcher :)
