Hi Guys,
complete newbie to this forum so please me but i need some help with installing this game. i get the following message which pops up whilst loading bf2 complete, if i click ok the installation continues but when its all done i ifire the game up i get kicked back to my desktop whether in singleplayer or multi and its always as the loading screen says verifying client data. I have been on bf2 for years but had a hard drive crash so needed to instal a fresh copy and this is as far as ive got. message reads:-
microsoft visual c++ runtime library
a buffer overrun has been detected.
program files\ea games\battlefield 2\bf2voicesetup.exe
a buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the programs internal state. the program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.
Have updated my graphics card(NVIDIA 8800gtx) to the latest driver issued and also Direct x and audio drivers but this makes no difference.
Any body out there know what i should do???
many thanks in advance
cheers
Andy
