im thinking about preordering 2142 from here

but it says EA downloader, do they send you the actual disks when its released? and if i was to buy it now do i get the demo? Thanks

I'm pretty sure EA Downloader, will not be sending you the discs. :D Also if you purchase it now, you will get the demo 24 hours in advance of when it is released. So if it's released Thurs you get it Wed, if it's released Tues you get it Mon.

Well, ive come to the decision of buying it through EA Downloader, but i cant seem to get them to take my money...Maybe all the EA being money grubbing was wrong....probably not and just a website glitch now i cant even attempt to order the page is broken, whether purposely or accidental is yet to be seen.

yea, seeing the same thing when trying to preorder, I quess EA does not just want our money afterall!!! :)

i decided to use the downloader since i have 65 dollars sitting in my paypal account doing nothing and not collecting any interest.

so i want to use paypal and EA is the only way in the US to get it that way
But they won't take my money...come on EA i know you want it! come on....its fresh and still has that new money smell...:D

That's the page for BF2:SF. Click the "Buy now" button and replace both "bf2map"s in the url with "bf2142". That should take you to the billing page.

I heard people were having this problem when not selecting the country they live in, i dont know where you live or what you've got slected, meh dunno if it'll help. I had to pay them $65 >.<

Say "your IP is not USA IP, we're not giving you the game kthxbye." Its illegal to try and bypass these annoying laws and taxes and all that crap. Hence i paid $65 instead of $50 cause i pay in £ -.-

well ive transferred my money over to my bank account so, i do not have to order thru EAD so if they do not fix it soon, i wll get it from best buy and they will lose the extra money they get by us purchasing thru EAD

Their loss, and mine too sort of...i hate having to leave my disk in the drive all the time, but ill get a new gun instead
