Hi guys,
I reserved my old BF2 name for BF2142 via the VETERANS PROGRAM. Does anybody know how it's going to work later on in the actual game ? As of logging in and such ?
This question is more pointed towards the BETA guys I guess, who acutally have an impression of the new BF.

You'll login to your main BF2142 account using your EA.com account, and I assume EA/DICE will have automatically created your first Soldier Account with your preferred in-game name, so just a case on doubling click on it and away you go.

thats about what I would say too but just because some of us where in the beta dosnt mean we would have the answer because that feature was disabled in the beta
The definite thing I can tell you is that the login system works differently
You have your login ID and ps but after that you can create several soldiers on one account so you dont have to remenber a bunch of different names and passwords

the good thing about soliders is that i reserved my name but i wrote it wrong.. but its just my log in name so i can still have the correct name on my solider (the name people will see)

really? is that true St._Sasquatch?
wow, maybe I have had this backwards all along.
when you give yourself a reserved name for bf2142 is that just your log in name? and then you can make any soldier you want with a different name when your playing the game?

No your reserving your soldier name not your login. Your login is your EA account lmao.
The vet program reserves soldiers.

Here's a couple of screenshot, alittle old but you get the idea.
1. Main EA Account, only used to login and not seen elsewhere.

2. Soldier Account(s), these are were your ranks/unlocks/stats apply too, any are used in-game.

I dont remember it looking like that in the beta lol. But now people can see that a EA account is used to login in. You're reserving you're soldier name not your login lol.

The vet program reserves soldiers.no thats what I thought originally, but what St._Sasquatch said confused me cause I thought he was talking about the veterans program so I though I had it all backwards.

When you log into the retail version of the game you will be able to unlock something.

What happens if you registered more than one name for BF2142 under your EA account. Which one is gonna get the rank up?
