I signed up for the veterans program witch will get me a unlock, and i also pre ordered the game from gamestop which also gives me an unlock so does that mean two for me or what?:confused:

Im pretty sure you can only have one unlock.

No the skin was for Best Buy not for gamestop or the veterans program.

You get the new Skin form Gameplay.co.uk or bestbuy.
Predator im sure you only get one unlock. But its not much anyway, you can level up 3 times easily in your first round lol.

actually i remember reading that; the veterans unlock you have to use imediently but the preorder unlock can be activated whenever.

No you type the code in and it promotes you instantly at the start. You can only use one anyway.
IT does't matter when you use it, it doesn't make it any faster. I simply gives you 40 points, so pray tell what difference it makes saving up 50k points and using it then, because if you'd used it right away you'd have one more unlock. Simple as that. Its not as if it gives you a free unlock, it pays for the first rank by giving you 40 points.

oh rite, i was under the impression that it could be used anytime but it was the equivilant of a full promotion, not just 40 points. thanks.

Wow! Can we say "Blatant Abuse?" Besides, the fine print says you have to use the code prior to ranking up through gameplay. The whole point of the program is to give you a quick jump into the game, not give you a long term advantage over someone who doesn't preorder.

The whole thing is over rated anyways. The first ranks come so fast its not much of a "jump" I bet more than one person will get one or two ranks the first match they play.
The final ranks however are a ungodly grind... that would be a nice gift.

Just my opinion on this...haven't heard anything official, but i think it just grants you the unlock w/o giving you any points so that you still have to earn 68 global points to hit PFC, and don't start with 40...28 away from another unlock.

P.S. oh and yes you'll have to use the unlock/rank-ups prior to gaining ranks in-game.

Id say preorder the game from circuitcity, u get $100 off I think logitech accessories, lol thats better than getting a free rank up that you can get 5 minutes into the game, 40points lol

where is this link? I can't find any info on $100 in accessories.
I think I'm going to pre order from Compusa to get the free shirt. I'd rather have a shirt than one unlock anyway.
