Well considering i'm not psychic and can't read your mind i have no idea what exactly you're on about, do you have any idea how many pre-orders there are? How are we supposed to know which one you're on about? If you want any help be more specific.

Step 2 - Cry and have a moderate to severe tantrum in said store. Rolling on the ground while crying loudly and kicking like Van Damme helps !
Step 3 - In order to avoid the humiliation of being seen, mom will throw down some cash for the preorder !
Step 4 - Go back home, enjoy some chicken stew, binky, and a nap !

yeah the EA downloader pre order botton doesnt work for 2142
Nobody can pre-order, and we have no idea what to do..
Wait for a couple days or mail ea support

Hmm, are you sure you changed "prodid=BF2-MAP" to "prodid=BF2142", and not only "skin=bf2map"? I double checked myself and I get the Battlefield 2142: Collector's Edition.

I can confirm that this works. I followed the above method and ordered, then checked my EA Downloader and sure enough, BF2142 is there waiting to preload in 7 days. Thanks nimski!!

I changed both, it was saying SF in the paypal part so i didnt continue....
anyway after getting an update from EA i tried again and it worked normally.(no thanks to support)
Although i can personally attest to the near worthlessness of EA Support.
