Does anyone know anything about the demo, ie...

1) What map (generally the demo runs the most impressive map)

2) Any time limits?

3) Will unlocks work?

4) Will it include advertising?

5) Any other info?

We know the most imporatant part and that is itr is out in a couple of days:D :D

1. sidi
2. there will be time limits(say 30 mins a map)
3.I dont see how unlocks can not work since it is a massive part of the game:D
Plus if there are no unlocks we have no medics or resupplying:cry:

4. i think we will see a few add's here and there:D

5. the previous 4 answers are only my asumption and do not reflect demo content or quality:laugh:

It's a demo, a taster of what to expect. You can still heal and resupply, just no revive's.

I know you can heal but i thought you had to unlock the resupply thingy:cool:

So what does the advanced ammo hub do thats better than resuplpying:confused:

I think Advanced Hubs last alittle longer and work while inside vehicles.

Cool, thought it would be Verdun tho I'm glad it's not as I was not blown away by it in the beta.

Nothing sad about it mate. The sooner we get the in-game advertising, the sooner someone works out how it hangs together, the sooner someone manages to...you guess the rest.

Hmm, not so fast. All I seem to be able to pre-order is the collectors edition at £35 (which is what boxed retails games cost), not the "normal" version which I would assume would be cheaper than a boxed retail as it's downloaded. That correct?

That's all there is on EA Downloader. You should be thankful you get abit more for your £35, before it didn't have the soundtrack or behind the scenes video. Still cheaper to buy elsewhere though. PCWorld @ £20 without any extras.

I don't really like the idea of buying a preorder. Of course EA needs to give some candy (the demo 24h exclusive) to get preorders. I need to have something concrete in my hands while the game installs, this includes the box and the manual.

I dont think it will show up unless you pre-order it;)

My friend pre-ordered Fifa 07 and could get the demo of EA downloader but i could not and i did not pre-order:D

The demo should be sweet I hope to see some of you guys online. I wonder if BF2142 will have any cool clan support...like tournament brackets....;)

My brother works there too, I love the discounts. The other day I got PGA Tour 06, Day of Defeat:Source, and the logitech rumblepad2 all for under $45. w00t!!!!
