think they will add a third faction in future expansions?

i know that planetside had 3 and im not sure how all of it would pan out, of course, but it seems maybe in future installments, they could add in a third faction, BF had 3 to choose from,
but im talking about 3 teams per battle on 64 player servers, titan mode
anyone think this would be a possibility?
or would it even be fun?
to many directions to be pulled?

I don't think that a 2142 expansion will incorporate any third faction, but if there is going to be one, it'd be the Union of African States. There's a problem with 3 teams in Titan mode anyhow. Which Titan would the missile from the silo fire to? or would there be a need for Dual Missiles? Also, you can't split 64 players into 3 teams, you'd have 1 guy left over.

All in all, I think it'll be too big of a change given the current system that we are using.

Yeah, there is definately the possibilty of a third faction. If you notice from the background the Far East is not involved (yet). As for three titans per game, this would also create a lot of in-game lag along with the who-do-I-shoot delimma (however the thought is interesting!)

Who knows, future booster paks could add another faction, (maybe visitors from outer space???)

They would never have all 3 factions playing at once:p

If they add a 3rd faction in a expansion then the maps in the expansion will be split between the new faction and the original 2 factions;)

yah i guess the "who do i shoot" would be a bit confusing
and yah 3 titans would be a bit much to organize and attack/defend
just thinknin, and yah missle silos having to decypher where to target, oh well

i do hope they atleast add another faction with new weapons, and i dont like to use the word "aliens" but maybe something different than human males wearing grey camo...i like the look of the EU gear though!

heck even the new faction could be just rebels/mercenaries that team up with thier faction of choice, having new basic gear and same unlocks

Not really into too much sci fi but giving the route they are going perhaps we may see a robotic/cyborg faction with stronger ground troops and weapons but less vehicles/armour available or usable by them.
