Vehicle Drop

Is this going to be a feature, and if it is what vehicle will it be, i think that it will be the bandit.

There is no vehicle drop, well not in Titan mode anyway.

lol yea me too...imagine the game with LOADS of titans...one thing that would be cool about it is that the pod would work ANY time!

lol if one team only had one contol point, and then you dropped the titan on it, it would make a big explosion killing all those people. Maybe developers will do this in a mod.

There was never a vehicle drop ability in both betas, so I don't think there is one. Horray for no more vehicle drop exploits!

If I'm honest I'll miss the vehicle drop. Having seen how open Verdun was and how you could end up stranded vehicle drops would have been the ideal solution but I'm pretty sure they would have been exploited so it's probably for the best that they aren't there.

Vehicle drops were bad in that the commanders used it as artillary which :cussing: me off, but in a way it was good because if you were stuck in the open and had no ride, you would have to traverse the map to get to your destination, we all know how that feels. Maybe they will keep pod hopping or whatever they call it.

the only thing with that is that people could fly to you, good idea though. I'd like for them to drop anything rideable, like the Mechs. he he;)

Seems like I always end up in bfe and find myself cussing that no vehicle drop is in this game like it was in BF2.
We can pod out from the wild blue yonder but cannot drop vehicle ?
Please add it like you did in a BF2 patch.

Vehicle drops are only nice when they are used as intended. In Bf2 there was cartillery, when the commander would drop a jeep on top of anything standing still. There was extreme cartillery, which is best explained by watching this video.

And on top of the cartillery it was possible, using vehicle drops, to glitch inside of certain buildings and shoot other players in complete safety.

vehicle drops were good but i know what was better... vietnam airlifting. that was sooo cool, infact i think its time i went back to that game, every few months or so i just have to cos its the best battlefied ever =p

I went back to BF2 th other day and its surprising how much better it is than BF2142. And this is coming from someone who used to argue that BF2142 was better than BF2, but really its not.

hey if you look on the poster boards in the game you can see that they are making battlefeild 2143 and maybe there will be a veichle drop in that one?
