I was just wondering how big do u think the demo will be???

i would place it at around 1.3 gb or something. stupid demos are getting waaaaaaaay too big now. 1.3 was practically a game a few years ago >_>

I'd say somewhere between 500mb - 1GB. If i remember correctly the bf2 demo fell in between those numbers.

It has to be over 1GB...all of the textures etc...Id say 1.5GB...

dont forget...they have to ship ALL of the fundementals with the game...and thats most of it!

jackal22 has an accurate guess. Since the beta's were nearly 1.4GB and had some missing sound files, i imagine it will be roughly about the same size. It will be a different map as well so i expect it in the 1.x GB range.

I have an hour before college, and i want it ready to play when i get home

So if i get up at like 6am and donwload...it should be done before i have to go..

you know if EA even releases the game 24hours early I wouldnt doubt seeing it on torrent websites a little later of release because of hackers:D

Im getting regardless of what the demo is like lol

Im getting bored of BF2, i need something new to entertain me until BF2142 is released

Do you think the single player demo part will have a ten minute time limit like the BF2 demo?

If the demo size is going to be that huge, I don't want to know how big the actual game is but my guess is about 600mb to 1.5 gb, whilst the actual game could most porbably be at around 3.5 to 5 gb.

If your ISP is telstra, download it off www.gamearena.com.au
or ISp is Internode off http://games.internode.on.net/filelist.php

They will host the files as soon as there released and they dont count towards your DL limit.
I'm with telstra and get all my files off GA so I dont have to worry about them counting towards my Dl limit:D

Thanks for informing us of that! I would have wasted so much DL space on my UNLIMITED (really only 10 gig which can then be argued down to 6 gig.. and then 5 gig (downloads and 5 gig uploads) plan..

No matter what size, I think getting it is going to suck! I remember when the BF2 demo was released, it took hours to download once the news was out.

I'm guessing 1.2 gig the same file size as PoE2.

As long as I get to DL the demo off filefront it shouldnt take me took long to get. I'll probably let it download while I'm out.
